The goal of this thesis is to develop a Knowledge Based Engineering tool that is able to automatically design and integrate wiring harnesses in a complex 3D environment. The tool should be developed using the GDL KBE system. The assignment will be partially performed at KE-works, a Delft technostarter specialising in the development of KBE applications and in cooperation with Stork Fokker Elmo, worlds second largest wiring manufacturer.
